Made possible by exploring innovative developments in molded plywood techniques, Iskos-Berlin’s Soft Edge series for Hay combines strong curves with extreme lightness to create a three-dimensionality not normally possible with 2D plywood. All the edges of the ultra-thin, soft seats are folded away from the body, designed to optimize comfort and facilitate movement. Soft Edge 12 features a wood base that creates a homogenous, unified expression, while its strength and stackability guarantee years of daily use in a wide range of public and private environments – from classrooms and cafés to the domestic home.
